"the image is a symbol of roger water's final judgement. the sky of the endless river is where roger would go if he succeeds, as rick did in his trial, and the ball hell below is what awaits roger for failure. roger must defend the ❒ of his wealth (dsotm) from his worst enemy, margaret thatcher. roger must get over his petty with gilmour and use his statues as weapons as he does a redundant bass riff on the cube. the sun, a symbol of argentina, is there to remind roger each and every moment of why he is fighting thatcher."
